Job description
The Senior Global Brand Manager – Innovation, Collaboration & Partnerships will lead the brand’s future-facing agenda, overseeing our global innovation pipeline development, cultural collaborations, and strategic partnerships. This role ensures that innovation and partnerships are not only commercially successful but also elevate the brand’s equity, desirability, and cultural footprint worldwide.
This role is permanent and can be Islay or Glasgow based. Main responsabilities are:
Innovation Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Lead the long-term global innovation strategy and pipeline.
- Translate consumer, category, and cultural insights into distinctive, premium innovation concepts.
- Drive end-to-end NPD, including product, packaging, and design.
- Partner with R&D, operations, and supply chain to deliver viable and timely launches.
- Ensure all innovation reinforces brand positioning and codes.
Collaborations & Partnerships
- Identify, develop, and execute global collaborations (luxury, design, sport, music, art, hospitality).
- Lead partnership strategy to drive cultural relevance and aspirational positioning.
- Oversee co-created product launches, collaborations and limited editions.
- Manage relationships with global partners and creative collaborators.
Market Engagement & Global Rollout
- Provide markets with toolkits, guidelines, and playbooks for innovation and partnership launches.
- Act as central contact for innovation and collaborations with local marketing teams.
- Gather market insights and performance data to optimise future projects.
Consumer & Cultural Insight
- Commission and interpret research to validate innovation and collaboration opportunities.
- Monitor global cultural trends and competitor activity to identify white space opportunities.
- Champion the consumer perspective in innovation and partnerships.
Agency & Budget Management
- Lead global design, innovation, and collaboration agency partners.
- Manage budgets across innovation, design, and partnership initiatives.
- Ensure ROI is measured in both commercial and brand equity terms.
Profile
- Values-led profile, motivated to be part of a purpose led business.
- A strategic marketing leader with +5 years demonstrable experience and a successful track record across the full digital ecosystem.
- Significant experience in leading / managing high profile brands in the premium spirits space with ownership of strategic, creative and technical projects.
- Has developed global marketing initiatives as well as market-specific output, with working knowledge of the differences of key markets (including compliance, platforms, distribution opportunities).
- Demonstrable experience and a strong track record in delivering data-driven strategies.
- Proven project management leadership, bringing together diverse groups of stakeholders around common goals with a common language (bridging marketing and technical teams).
- A self-starter, agile, with a can-do attitude who has strong planning, organisational, budget management skills and problem-solving skills and unwavering attention to detail
- The ability and credibility to influence, lead, and energise across all business functions. A great communicator and influencer with the ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally, across geographies.
- Strong and confident presentation skills to both large and small groups, ability to inspire, engage, educate and influence individuals and teams.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, with the tenacity and enthusiasm to deliver results personally and by creating the right environment and ways of working for others to excel.
- Ability to travel regularly to the Glasgow office and/ or Islay when required
